In this Grade 8 Science course, the course is fairly typical with students evaluated through typical means including tests, quizzes, labs and homework.  

The course is web-facilitated as it has a website to provide students/parents with more information about assignments, how to complete work and links to interactive quizzes to test knowledge.  Students do not converse with each other on this page.

In this Blended class, students are required to use standard materials like textbooks and binders, but they are also interacting in this "21st Century Class" through web 2.0 tools such as Wikis, where they can share ideas and questions with each other and interactive studying sites like quizlet.com.

This Grade 8 Science course is completely virtual.

In this course, students will interact with each other and teachers through: 
  • Electronic simulation activities
  • Discussion boards and email
  • Assessments with real-time feedback
  • Interactive activities that engage both the student and teacher in subject

All learning and interaction takes place online at the student's own pace.
